In our MRP pipes, HDPE is used as the main material for its high chemical resistance against corrosion and abrasion, flexibility, light weight, long life span of up to *0 years or more and very importantly, its ability to withstand heavy loads. This HDPE layer is reinforced with steel to enhance its dent resistance and increase its ability to withstand shocks and stress. This is followed by an outer layer of HDPE on the outside to protect the steel from corrosion. In addition, there is also a bonding layer between the steel and the PE to form an integrated wall structure. Finally, a special material coating is then applied to increase the pipe’s anti corrosive properties, culminating in a three-layer pipe known as Metal Reinforced Polyethylene Spirally Corrugated Pipe (MRP) that is unyielding, lightweight, flexible and lasting. With this innovative bonded wall structure, our MRP pipes can reach high pipe ring stiffness of up to SN*6 (KN/m) with a significant weight advantage over competing pipe designs. MRP’s suitability for deep burying over long periods, low installation costs and high ring stiffness make MRP pipes the prime choice for use as civil underground sewers, conveying system for sewage plant, flood water drainage for farmland, chemical discharge waste conduits, highway drainage mine ventilation systems, low pressure water supply and sea water or rain water discharge system.
